All of my puppies are raised in my home, as part of my family. They are socialized properly and I work with them through protocols from Puppy Culture and Avidog. If you are curious to know more about this, a link will be in my 'Breed & Health Information' section. I highly recommend reading this information as it will help you understand what helps in making my puppies sound in mind and body. They are also placed through an aptitude/temperament test at the age of 7-8 weeks old to see where and what families they would best be placed with, you can also find information in the tab listed above along with much more information.
I am incredibly selective in where my puppies are placed and very rarely will a home be given full rights on a dog. It is not that I do not wish to share my lines, its that I breed for my self and my lines first and foremost while also striving to breed healthy and happy pets for you second. All dogs sold with show prospect or performance home contracts will be co-owned with me listed as primary owner. I ask anyone that is interested in a puppy from myself, whether it be companion or else wise, fill out the contact form bellow and include some information about yourself. This helps me help you in selecting the best puppy for your home and determining if this breed is the right fit for you.
All puppies are naturally reared to the standard that the mother weans them as she sees fit and they do not leave my home before 8-10 weeks of age. We start offering food around 5-6 weeks of age to allow them something with more substance while still being allowed to nurse from mom. She will start makings these feeding times less and less as she sees fit and as the puppies teeth start to come in fully. We feel that puppies continue to learn a lot from siblings and their mother and do not feel it is our right to decide how and when they are to learn something that is learned from their mother. Every puppy is different and learns at a different pace, however by 12 weeks of age most that can be learned from mom is done with and they start to learn more from the pack about manners and proper dog behavior as well as training from their people. All our puppies will start learning to use the dog door and go to the bathroom outside starting at the age of 8 weeks but only in the safety of our own yard. Puppies will also be pee pad trained. They will have at least their first set of shots and most likely second set of shots as well. Will have been wormed according to a schedule we follow strictly and will be listed bellow. Our puppies leave our home with a first dose of flea and tick preventative, and heartworm preventative.

2, 4, & 6 weeks of age: Nemex for Roundworms and Hookworms

8 weeks of age: Quad Wormer for Roundworms, Hookworms, Whipworms, Tapeworms and Heartworm medication started now.

12 weeks of age: same as 8 weeks

16 weeks of age: same as 8 weeks
Every months depending on your location thereafter for the life of the dog (We treat monthly.)
I have, at any time, the right to refuse sale of puppy to a buyer and will do so if I feel that your home is no longer fit for the puppy that was decided on. My waiting list is not first come first serve, sometimes you will be expected to wait 1-2 litters before the right puppy comes along, but it is well worth the wait so that you can make sure the puppy is the right fit for you. We do not ship puppies, however you are more than welcome to come pick up your puppy (we will meet you anywhere within a 50 mile radius without charging a gas fee or meet you at the airport) and we also will always take any puppy back for any reason. Our puppies were brought into this world by us and we are responsible for them for life, just as you are. We welcome any prospective buyer into our home to see how we raise our puppies and meet any of our dogs. You will be expected to wait until 5-6 weeks of age before you can visit puppies and asked to remove shoes and jacket (if necessary) and wash your hands before interacting with the puppies and adults. We ask that you do not visit any other home with dogs or petstore/shelter/rescue with puppies/dogs/cats for the safety of our animals. Please call or email to set up a time and day to visit and be aware that we do have busy lives so it may not be next day or even the same week.
I require a non-refunable deposit, or a puppy will not be held for you. I do not take deposits before a litter is born and not on a specific puppy until I've made my pick and we see what sort of personalities emerge (6-8 weeks). Thank you for your understanding.
