As I have transitioned mostly to Gooddog.com for most of my communication and tracking of owners, deposits, etc I am doing less on my website here. What does this mean? It means that although I will update this website to showcase my dogs, how I handle them and the love they get, plus any other information I feel is important. What it also means though is that all of my transactions will be done through Good Dog and that alone. We no longer accept deposit payments by Paypal, Venmo, etc. The reason we made this choice is that Good Dog is secure and they make sure that things safe for both breeder and new home. They ensure that what a breeder is receiving is real and that the buyer is getting a good, ethical and responsible breeder. They provide breeder education, require health testing on dogs to be perform to be a part of their system and its a really easy way to handle all communication.
Deposit Policy

We require a $300 deposit on all puppies, regardless of their price. Deposits are not first come first serve, however people that do place deposits are considered first for a good fit for my puppies. If we feel a puppy will fit your needs, lifestyle, and demeanor and you haven't placed a deposit, we will give you the option to do so. No puppies will be considered placed until a deposit is sent and cleared by my bank. We require an application be filled out, we chat extensively with each home, check references and wait for puppies to start developing personalities before deciding who will fit best with who. If we are keeping back from the litter for our own breeding program, no puppies will be available until 8 weeks of age. If we can tell before that age that a puppy is just not going to work for our program, we will consider a home before then. We understand this is a long process and its exciting getting a puppy, but we know that people who are the best fit for our little dachshund family are people who are willing to wait and be patient. If you are interested only in getting a puppy immediately, we are not the breeder for you. Please do not send a deposit without talking with me first. Any deposits sent without being asked, will be sent back.
